I'll be honest — I never used to care much for photos. Taking them, being in them, it just wasn't my thing. That changed after I met my wife and we started building a life together. I'd stumble on an old picture and suddenly be right back in that day — the air, the feeling, all of it. I realized, a little late, how much a single photo can hold.

I still catch myself wishing I'd kept more of the moments I let slip by. You know how old photos and yearbooks are a little embarrassing, but you can't stop looking? An ordinary moment turns into something precious, just because someone kept it. That quiet rush you get years later, looking back — that's the feeling worth keeping.
